A Healing Journey
I see the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative one. Each individual is unique, so your pathway to healing is unique also. I take a person-centered approach and utilize various techniques to meet you where you are and move forward from there.
My approach incorporates the techniques of mindfulness, expressive arts, sand tray techniques, self-compassion practices, Dialectial Behavior Therapy (DBT), parts work, grief work, psychodynamic exploration, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
In addition to my experience as a therapist, I have been teaching yoga for over 17 years and find it to be a powerful somatic tool. If interested, we can incorporate yoga into sessions. The mind/body connection can be a powerful component of healing and well-being.
